A leader not a dictator?

Lead By example

Lead By Example

We’ve all heard the phrase lead by example, to me this defines leadership.

A leader is not someone who barks orders at everyone and tasks everyone else to do their work for them.

A good leader will lead by example and no matter what does not stray from their path or choices, they are assertive and decisive, they know what they want and they use their resources to get it.

Above all they show the team how to be successful and encourage the team with positivity when needed, motivation when required and discipline on occasion.

As Jim Rohn once said

The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humour, but without folly.

Do leadership skills come naturally to you?
