With lots going on and the added issues of the unfortunate situation of having my mother in law staying with us, under palliative care. For the past 8 weeks I’ve struggled with getting to the gym, and keeping training going.
A good chest and bicep work out complete I managed to max out with 10 reps at 90lbs per dumbbell with chest press which I was pleased with.
The competitive side of me wants to lift heavier and heavier and get past my old PB of 200kg bench press but as I work in a suit, constantly growing chests and arms don’t bode well with a suited lifestyle of a modern day entrepreneur! So no heavier than this for me just more and more reps.
So with Underground, work gym and home gym there really is no more excuses other than not being in the right frame of mind, so it’s a mental challenge from now with everything going on at home.
Just entering into the ultimate white collar boxing as well to raise money for charity and get that fight I always wanted as well in front of a crowd so watch this space!
